The Arts at RIS are an integral part of the curriculum, offering students opportunities to develop creativity, imagination, and self-expression through music, theater, dance, and visual arts. Students create, rehearse, perform, and respond to diverse themes, styles, and contexts, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, collaboration, and innovation.
RIS arts teachers bring a wealth of professional experience as actors, musicians, and artists, enriching their teaching with real-world expertise. Students are encouraged to explore various performance opportunities, from showcases at our Performing Arts Center, Liguori Gallery, and Godbout Hall to cultural celebrations like International Cultural Week and Songkran.

Most RIS arts teachers have experienced lives as professional actors, artists, musicians, and performers and know, first-hand, what it takes to reach that level of expertise. They bring their collective experiences with them to their courses and students. Meanwhile, RIS students themselves often take advantage of the opportunity to take part in events at the school’s state-of-the-art Performing Arts Center (PAC), Liguori Gallery, Godbout Hall, and the mini-theaters in the MS and HS, as well as in special cultural celebrations such as International Cultural Week, Chinese New Year, Songkran, among others.
