SEASAC Golf – Semester 1, 2025–2026 @ British School Jakarta
RIS Golfers Demonstrate Skill and Resilience in Jakarta
Eight RIS golfers traveled to Indonesia to compete at SEASAC Golf, showcasing admirable composure and sportsmanship. Playing at the challenging yet picturesque Damai Indah Golf Course, the team navigated tough conditions with focus and determination. Their performance highlighted both preparation and mental strength, led by Jasper Low’s impressive 4th-place finish in the overall Boys competition. RIS congratulates all our golfers on a successful tournament and looks forward to another strong season next year.

Varsity Girls Achieve Best Finish in Years at Division 1 Tournament
The Varsity Girls Volleyball team represented RIS with pride at the SEASAC Division 1 tournament hosted by United United World College East Campus in Singapore. Demonstrating consistent growth and determination, the team advanced to the semifinals and secured 4th place after a spirited match against the host school. This achievement marks their strongest SEASAC finish in several years and reflects their hard work and rising competitive strength. RIS extends heartfelt thanks to Coach Komson Penpoo for his long-standing dedication to the program. As he begins his well-deserved retirement, the school honors his legacy and the many athletes he has inspired.

Varsity Boys Go Undefeated to Claim SEASAC Division 2 Championship
RIS proudly hosted the SEASAC Division 2 Boys Volleyball Tournament, where the Varsity Boys delivered an exceptional performance on home ground. Going undefeated across all matches, the team displayed composure, grit, and outstanding teamwork—especially in a tightly contested final that secured the championship title. RIS extends its gratitude to the entire community for the incredible support and hospitality shown throughout the weekend, warmly appreciated by visiting teams across the region.

Varsity Girls Show Courage and Growth in Their First Varsity-Level SEASAC
The Varsity Girls Football team traveled to the Australian International School Singapore, competing with heart and resilience throughout the SEASAC tournament. Despite being a young team and new to the varsity level, the girls embraced every challenge, showing impressive growth each day. Their efforts culminated in a well-earned victory over ISY on the final day. RIS also honors senior players and captains—Pearl, Miijung, and Venice—who concluded their SEASAC journey with pride and leadership.

Varsity Boys Display Grit and Adaptability in First 11-A-Side SEASAC Appearance
At Harrow International School Bangkok, the Varsity Boys Football team demonstrated tremendous tenacity despite unexpected setbacks. After losing both first- and second-choice goalkeepers just weeks before the tournament, the team adapted quickly and fought fearlessly in each match. Competing in their first-ever 11-a-side SEASAC, the boys pushed more experienced opponents to the final whistle, emphasizing teamwork, resilience, and competitive spirit. RIS thanks Coach Tobi and Coach Boy for their leadership throughout the season.
SEASAC Cross Country – Semester 1, 2025–2026 @ Kanchanaburi (Hosted by NIST)
RIS Runners Deliver Outstanding Performances Along the River Kwai
RIS Cross Country athletes traveled to Kanchanaburi for the annual SEASAC XC Championships, racing along the scenic River Kwai on a demanding course marked by rugged terrain and intense conditions. Fourteen Varsity runners represented RIS with distinction, many achieving personal bests amid the challenging environment. Special congratulations go to senior runners—Bene, Maijene, Jeremy, and Tony—for their years of dedication and commitment to the XC program.
