RIS Fun Fair 2025

A CELEBRATION OF FUN, COMMUNITY, AND GIVING BACK

The RIS Fun Fair 2025 was a resounding success, bringing together students, faculty, staff, and families for a day filled with exciting activities, live performances, and meaningful fundraising efforts. Held on Saturday, February 22, the event fostered school spirit while reinforcing RIS’s commitment to service, as every booth and activity contributed to charitable causes.

THE RIS PARENT AUXILIARY: THE HEART OF THE FUN FAIR

The RIS Parent Auxiliary played a vital role in making the event a success. Their team curated an incredible lineup of vendors, ensuring a wide variety of delicious food, handcrafted goods, and unique finds for families to enjoy. They also organized an exciting Lucky Draw, engaging games, and prizes, creating a vibrant and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

One of the standout highlights of the event was the massive stage on Godbout Turf, proudly sponsored by the Parent Auxiliary. This stage provided an exceptional platform for students from all school sections to showcase their talents, with performances ranging from musical acts to dance routines. The stage became a centerpiece of the Fun Fair, celebrating the creativity, talent, and confidence of RIS students.

A COMMUNITY UNITED FOR A CAUSE

The Fun Fair also served as an opportunity for students to engage in meaningful fundraising efforts. High school clubs and committees organized student-led games and booths, using the event to raise funds for service projects and upcoming trips focused on supporting those in need. Middle school students, under the guidance of the MSC, science teachers, and coaches, raised awareness and collected donations for organizations such as Camillian Home, OurLand Thailand Conservation, Baan Nok Kamin, and local schools in need of sports equipment.

Elementary students contributed by developing their own service projects, working in teams, designing creative posters, and learning the value of compassion and teamwork. The Fun Fair provided younger students with an early opportunity to develop leadership and collaboration skills, preparing them to take on greater roles in middle and high school service initiatives.

LOOKING AHEAD

Beyond the booths and performances, faculty and staff played a crucial role in ensuring the event’s success. From supervising games and rides to assisting students with their fundraising efforts, their dedication helped create a seamless and enjoyable experience for the entire school community. Parents, students, and visitors participated in a variety of activities, with every ticket purchased contributing to charitable initiatives that will make a difference in the lives of others.

As RIS prepares to celebrate its 70th anniversary in 2027, events like the Fun Fair continue to strengthen the school’s commitment to service and community engagement. With more activities planned in the coming years, the RIS community looks forward to building on this tradition of service, fun, and togetherness.
